Who's behind it

One lead, accountable for every deal.

Stephen Steinberg

Founder, JSuite · Syndicate Lead

Stephen built JSuite into a 5,000+ member network of Jewish founders, investors and executives. Before that, he spent 18 years building Vapor Fresh, a consumer products brand sold on Amazon, direct-to-consumer and into gyms nationwide.

He evaluates startups like an operator: unit economics, distribution, and whether the founder can sell. He leads sourcing and diligence on every deal.

FAQs

Do I have to be accredited?

Yes. AngelList verifies your status during onboarding; we never see your financial documents.

Am I committing to anything by applying?

No. Joining is free and there's no capital commitment. You decide on each deal, and you can pass on all of them.

What does it cost?

2% management fee and 20% carry on each deal you join. Carry is only earned on profits. If you never invest, you pay nothing.

How many deals should I expect?

A few high-conviction deals a year, not a monthly quota. We'd rather send nothing than send a weak company.

What happens after I invest?

Your money goes into an AngelList SPV for that company. AngelList sends your documents and tax forms. You're added to the private WhatsApp LP chat for founder updates.

Can I invest through an LLC or trust?

Yes. AngelList supports investing through entities.
